Again, a wonderful year, a wonderful program and presentation from the Women's Care Center! Thank you for your time, experience and expertise. Our 7th and 8th grade students and teachers really enjoyed the program. It is valuable, fun and filled with good tips and lessons with an important message! See you next year!

Community

The WC2ed focuses on empowering our community - parents, educators, agency representatives, medical professionals, and other community members - to provide a unified message of support to teens.

Through community forums and trainings, we aim to increase public awareness of, and support for, true sexual health for our youth as being only achieved through abstinence until marriage.

By a means of various community partnerships, the Education Division is:

  • Providing teachers, school nurses and "front-line" staff with ongoing training opportunities for Act 48 credit regarding sexuality education.
  • Offering medical professionals access to cutting-edge communication, assessment and cessation tools for use with sexually active clients.
  • Making available a course in Sexual Integrity for clients and community members.
  • Continuing to assist Erie County, PA with the ongoing services of the Women's Care Center's nine offices.
  • Conducting workshops for any community group on the "What, Why and How?" of Optimal Sexual Health Education.
